Perfect family getaway
We had a lovely two-night stay with our 5-year-old. The family room was super comfy, and we loved the fresh milk and homemade cake waiting for us! Breakfast was yum, even with special requests. Only wish the WiFi was a bit faster for the kiddos. a great spot near the beach!

The Firs in Runswick Bay offers a lovely ambiance with personal touches like homemade cakes and fresh milk in the room. My check-in was smooth, with a friendly welcome from the staff. The king room was spacious, designed nicely with a comfortable four-poster bed, and the bathroom was clean and modern. I enjoyed the breakfast selection, especially the homemade jams and breads. The location is great, being close to the beach and local dining options. the ensuite had a persistent unpleasant odor, which affected the overall experience. I also found the pillows quite firm, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Lovely stay with yummy cake!
We loved our King Room! Super comfy four-poster bed and huge space. The daily cake was a sweet surprise! Breakfast had lots of options and was freshly made. Service at breakfast was a bit slow, but they were super busy, so it was fine. The slipper bath looked cool, but didn’t match my style. We had a great time overall!
